Miryam is an economist with over 23 years of experience in public policy development, sustainable development, climate change, international macroeconomics, monetary policy, econometrics, and natural resources and infrastructure governance.
On the international stage, she has provided technical assistance to several Latin American countries. She collaborated with the United Nations and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), where she was an Economic Affairs Officer and Senior Consultant at the Economic Development Division, the Natural Resources and Infrastructure Division, and the Sustainable Development and Human Settlements Division.
On the Mexican public sector, she worked on the Bank of Mexico’s operations analysis and information area.
She studied Economics at the Anahuac University and earned a Master’s degree in Economics, with a specialization on international economy, public policy, and advanced econometrics, from the University of Warwick.
