Karem is a finance major with over 12 years of experience in strategic planning and administration.
In the public sector, she has served as an advisor to Pemex’s Director General for Drilling and Services, as well as Undersecretary of Planning at the State of Puebla’s Finance Secretariat and Popular Finances Joint Coordinator General at the National Institute of Social Economy.
In the private sector, she has notable experience in banking, mainly in the area of Government Banking.
She studied Finance at the Monterrey Technical Institute of Superior Studies (ITESM) and obtained a Master’s degree in Finance from the Anáhuac University. Additionally, she earned a diploma on Public Policy concerning social development from the Centre of Economic Research and Teaching (CIDE).
