Huver is an economist with over 8 years of experience in the analysis of the macroeconomic environment, public finances, and public policy.

In the public sector, he was a member of the advising body to the President, first serving as Area Manager and later as Joint Director General of Analysis. He then became a Unit Chief at the State of Mexico’s Secretariat of Economic Development.

He has been a professor at the Iberoamerican University and the ITESM, and has co-authored a couple journal articles titled Mexico’s Demand for Imports and Exports in the era of NAFTA and The Radioelectric Spectrum’s Tender and its Effect on Social Well-being in Mexico, both published by Trimestre Económico.

He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Economics from the Center of Economic Research and Teaching (CIDE), and was awarded a PhD on Public Policy by the same institution.
